ANXIÉTÉ : comprendre pour apaiser
Join us on the Esprit Psy Facebook page for discussions, articles, and reflections several times a week: / espritpsy In this video, I'm going to talk about something I encounter every week in consultations, sometimes even in people who aren't aware of it: invisible, insidious anxiety, which takes root in the body and in our thoughts... and which we end up trivializing or hiding behind the words "stress" or "fear"! We often believe that we simply need to learn to "relax"... But when anxiety takes hold in our nervous system, in our brain, in our life... it doesn't go away with a breath or a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, it becomes a way of functioning, and that's when it becomes exhausting for the person experiencing it. In today's video, we're going to talk a little about what happens in your brain when anxiety takes over, why you feel like you can't "let go" even when everything is going well, how certain life experiences have reprogrammed your alert system, and also how you can, step by step, regain a margin of emotional freedom, without forcing it, without feeling guilty. I prefer to say it here too: I'm not offering you miracles or injunctions, but a space to understand, feel, and perhaps begin a gentler path with yourself. --------------------------------------- ESPRIT PSY, since 2015, is a channel that I've been developing in my spare time. It primarily offers discussions around concepts in psychology or psychoanalysis, reflections on certain societal issues, and testimonials related to these themes. I try to make knowledge that has greatly benefited me accessible to as many people as possible, and sometimes to enable people in distress to find insight into a question or support in a time of vulnerability. ESPRIT PSY is also a platform currently under development, where all my videos, articles, and other resources converge: www.espritpsy.com ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● All rights reserved - © William Milliat / Esprit Psy #Anxiety #MentalHealth #Psychology #Neurobiology #StressManagement #MentalWellbeing #Trauma #Psychoanalysis #PersonalDevelopment #UnderstandingYourBrain
