🍍 Puff Pastry Tartlets with Quark and Pineapple | Crispy, Creamy & Easy to Make! These delicious puff pastry tartlets with a creamy quark filling and juicy pineapple are the perfect dessert for any occasion. Wonderfully crispy on the outside, deliciously creamy and fruity on the inside. This easy recipe is guaranteed to work and is ideal with coffee, for guests, or as a sweet snack for the whole family. The combination of delicate puff pastry, vanilla quark cream, pineapple, and crispy crumble topping makes these pastries irresistibly delicious. Recipe: ✅ Filling: 250 g (1 cup) quark or unsalted cream cheese. 1 egg yolk. 50 g (1/2 cup) powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon cornstarch. 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until smooth. ✅ Crumble: 100 g flour. 50 g sugar. 50 g butter. Grind until crumbs form. ✅ Additionally: 1 can of canned pineapple – dry with a paper towel. Chop half of the canned pineapple. ✅ Puff pastry – 2 sheets. Cut 1 sheet into squares. Fill with cheese filling. Add chopped pineapple. 1 egg yolk + 1 teaspoon cream or milk. Grease the tartlets. Sprinkle with crumbs. ----------------- Cut the remaining pastry into thin strips. Wrap the remaining canned pineapple in puff pastry. Brush with egg yolk. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (390 °F). Bake on the lower rack of the oven for the first 10-12 minutes to ensure the crust is cooked through. Slide the baking sheet onto the middle shelf of the oven and bake for another 15 minutes or so – until golden brown. Let cool to room temperature. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
