Harbanspura (Formerly Harbanspura Village) or Harbanspura Morr is situated beside Lahore Ring Road Harbanspura Interchange, Amir Town, and Taj Bagh. It used to be a proper village settlement before Partition (pre-1947). This place belonged to a Sikh Raja named Raja Harbans Singh. It consists chiefly of Arain people who used to be the peasants of the Raja. After the partition, the place continued to thrive on the bank of Lahore Canal and produced most of the vegetables for the consumption of Lahore city. However, after the year 2000, due to exponential population growth, agricultural activities almost became extinct. The land has now been converted into Housing societies and colonies.
