Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless US Navy VB-16, Dive Bomber, Hobby Master 1:32 Scale Diecast Model Review

✈️Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless US Navy, 1:32 Hobby Master HA0214✈️ In June 1944 Bombing 39 (VB-16) was onboard USS Lexington with 34 SBD "Dauntless" aircraft. Lt. Cook "Cookie" Cleland and rear gunner W.J Hisler flying SBD White 39 began to attack a Japanese Betty bomber. Cleland used his 7.9mm cowling machine gun and damaged the Betty's engine while trying to avoid the Betty's 20mm tail machine gun. Next Cleland pulled up beside the Betty and its waist gunner and Hisler began to exchange fire so Cleland pulled out front so Hisler could shoot the crew and bring down the Betty. Seen here is the Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless from US Navy's VB-16, White 39, as flown by Cook Cleland, while aboard the USS Lexington during the Battle of the Philippine Sea, June 1944. Beautifully done in 1:32nd scale diecast by Hobby Master. It's a very nice model with a great amount of detail. Thank you as usual for checking out our video, we appreciate it immensely. I wish to acknowledge all those that have served past and present with their respective nations armed forces with some making the ultimate sacrifice. Political ideals aside, it takes great courage and selflessness to answer your countries call. Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
