Five Ab Wheel Rollout Variations for Back Pain | Beginners, Listen Up!

This video covers five simple, yet very challenging ab wheel rollout variations that you can use if you've been experiencing lower back pain with the ab wheel. Lower back pain is commonly reported near the end-range of the rollout when using the ab wheel, oftentimes due to inappropriate technique where the hips drop or "sag" through during the rollout. The result is an aggressive end-range extension of the lumbar facet joints, which can be very irritating, uncomfortable, or even painful. The solution is to clean up your technique and stick to a shorter range of motion during the rollout so that you avoid any of your otherwise experienced back pain. But if you're sticking to a shorter range, you might not feel as much of a challenge to your core and abdominal muscles. So what can you do then? The solution is to find ab wheel variations that keep you in a safe, pain-free range while still challenging you adequately during the rollout. And that, my friends, is all covered within this video!
