August on the Cape Main, 1996.
My original magnum opus. Video cameras became plentiful and cheap in the early 90s, and I took mine along on vacation to Cape Cod in 1996. Between the Cape Cod Railroad and sister railroad Bay Colony, there was plenty of action, featuring a set of repainted MBTA F10s. 25 years later I can't believe my good fortune at capturing all these wonderful images. I redigitized the original Hi-8 tapes and did some color correction with tools that would have cost tens of thousands of dollars in '96. It's a very fond look back for me - it was a great time to be a rail fan in Massachusetts. Enjoy!
