Trolleybuses in Seattle (King County Metro)
This film shows a little bit of the trolleybus system of Seattle, Washington. After the system in San Francisco (see some of my other videos), this one is the second-largest in the U.S. It is operated by a fleet of over 150 Gillig Phantom and Breda articulated trolleybuses. The shorter Gillig Phantom buses were constructed between 2001 and 2003, and the Breda ones have been modernized in 2004–2007. The system consists of 14 lines. This film shows some of them around the Downtown area of Seattle. The weather was quite drizzly, which is supposedly rather common for Seattle, so enjoy the trolleybuses in typical weather conditions. ;-) Filmed on 25 March, 2015.
