Jane + Rogelio | perfect (FTC)

Hii! Please watch in HD!! It's worth it :) This video is for the third round of the Family Ties Contest, this round focuses on the relationship between fathers and their children. This one is to celebrate Father's day on June 19th. I decided to do Jane and Rogelio from Jane The Virgin because of how undervidded their relationship is (and the whole show as well) and how much I love how far they've come since they found out that they were in fact father/daughter. That is what I tried to show through this video, how their relationship has progressed and how they've built a great relationship. I heard this song the other day and decided it fit these two (especially from Rogelio's POV) even if it's actually a romantic song but the fact that Jane had all these expectations about who her father was and how Rogelio doesn't add up to those but he keeps trying to be a good father anyway. This is also the first time I vid this show, I recently watched it all and I love it so so much. The relationship between these two is also one of my favorites on the show, obviously Jane and Xiomara (her mother) as well but I thought it would be fun to vid these two since I hadn't seen any videos about them and they share so many amazing scenes. I really hope I have subscribers who are fans of the show or at least that you will enjoy this even if you don't watch the show! Voiceovers: Rogelio: "How could you keep my daughter a secret all these years?" Rogelio: "I'm your father." Jane: "All this time you knew who my father was and you didn't tell me?" Jane: "I'm sorry, I can't do this." Jane: "But you wouldn't know that because you don't know anything about me, not even my middle name, and that's because of her. I guess for you it is easy to forgive that because you've only known about me for sixteen months but I have thought about you for the past 24 years." Jane: "But I am so sorry about what I said." Rogelio: "Why? It was what you believed." Rogelio: "I was trying to impress you but I went too far so I'm sorry." Jane: "No, it's okay." Rogelio: "You turned out perfect without me." Jane: "We've got your back, dad, no matter what, you know that." Rogelio: "Jane, I'm sure you must have many questions about me." Jane: "Yes, I do." Rogelio: "And the best way to get those answers is by reading this." Rogelio: "I'm not walking away from you Jane Gloriana Villanueva even if it's not perfect." Jane: "Nothing's perfect." Jane: "I bet on you." Rogelio: "You did?" Jane: "Of course." Jane: "You were incredible dad." Rogelio: "Did you just call me dad?" Jane: "I think I did." Rogelio: "I can't imagine life without you." Jane: "You too." Jane: "Trust me, I wish I had you." Jane: "This is more important." Rogelio: "Thank you for your help, I know you're always by my side." Rogelio: "I love you Jane."
