This Little Railway Is Over 50 Years Old! Polperro Express Railway At Drayton Manor!

Today we visit Drayton Manor Resort theme park to check out their polperro express train ride. This narrow gauge railway has been on the grounds of the resort for over 50 years first appearing in 1971 as the Rio grande Railroad before being refurbished in 2003 and turned into the Polperro Express. The Diesel engine is produced by severn lamb who manufacture narrow gauge railways for a number of different theme parks across the UK. Also in this video we will take a look at the brand new 75th anniversary Drayton Manor museum on opening day and show case some of the artefacts inside including some of the first concept art for Thomas Land. Over all a fantastic little train ride that weaves around the various attractions in the park and one that is highly recommended if you visit Drayton manor for the day!
