Mechanism #2 | In-line Slider Crank

Kinematics of an in-line slider crank mechanism, this simulation was created in the CATIA V5 DMU Kinematics workbench. A mechanical animation can be helpful when learning how mechanisms work. An in-line slider crank has a symmetrical movement, this mechanism has 3 revolute joints and 1 prismatic joint. The rotation of the hand wheel transmits through shaft and the linkages to drive the linear movement of the slider. Feel free to leave a comment or ask for tutorial requests.
