Incredible Blacksmith Hammer Restoration Polishing and Bluing

This Warwood No 3 40X hammer was part of the lot of axe and hammer heads that I got off Ebay about a month ago. I used Birchwood Casey Perma Blue to give the head a two tone look with both polished and rough texture on the head. For the handle I used the remaining half of a used double bit axe handle, the top half of which I used when I restored a 200 year old half hatchet axe head. This was a fun restoration, it made for a nice Saturday activity.
