Abs - 'Spin' (2003)

Here's a completely different take on Dead Or Alive's 'You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)', and this time it has been repurposed by Abdominal Muscles (Abs to his friends), from boy band Five. After Five split, Abs was retained by Sony BMG/Simon Cowell as a solo act, becoming the only member to embark on a solo career. His debut album, 'Abstract Theory' featured three top 10 hits on the UK singles chart; 'What You Got' #4, 'Stop Sign' #10, 'Miss Perfect' #5. However, a fourth single ('7 Ways') was cancelled when the album only reached #29 on the album chart, leaving Abs dropped by his label before the close of 2003. You can find 'Spin' on the DVD single format (dreaded things) of 'Perfect'. I used software to extract the audio file from the DVD, but this track did later appear as a bonus track on the Japanese CD release of 'Abstract Theory'. It's track 13, but (spoiler alert!) it does have a non-indexed hidden track (also dreaded things!) after it, so you still need to use software to get the one track.
