Ted Mosby, Marshall Eriksen and Barney Stinson each encountered (and caused) their own fair share of problems in life and love over the course of How I Met Your Mother's story. They definitely weren't perfect, but that's also part of what made them relatable, and it also allowed us to learn some great lessons from their mistakes. So in this compilation we're diving back into our character studies of the guys of HIMYM to figure out what each story was meant to teach us. Marshall was presented as the nice moral center of the group on HIMYM, but his outlook on life actually came with its own problems, too. We can learn a surprising amount about Barney and his choices by taking a closer look at one of his favorite things: his suits! Ted loved love, or at least the idea of love.
