Circus Aerials Session 1 | Behind the Scenes

Recently I ran the first of my Aerial Elements photography workshops at Apollo's PlayGround, and what an incredible afternoon it turned out to be. We had three amazing aerial performers, Alyssa, Natalie and Immogen, working across five different apparatus including lyra, silks, trapeze, cube and more. Add in six enthusiastic photographers, my long-suffering assistant Roy, a mountain of costume changes, and a whole lot of creative energy, and things got busy very quickly. In this video, I'm giving you a behind-the-scenes look at what happened throughout the afternoon. You'll see the performers in action, photographers working through the various setups, lighting changes, costume changes, and just how much variety we managed to create in a single session.
