Faux Stained Glass Window | Lord Of The Rings

Step into Middle-earth with me in Shire Meadow Studio 🌿✨ In this video, I create a Tolkien-themed faux stained-glass window, inspired by The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Drawing from iconic imagery — the Fellowship crossing bridges, Bilbo’s round door, Rivendell’s arches, the Misty Mountains, Mount Doom, even Sauron’s dark tower — I bring them together in one glowing panel. Using simple craft supplies — acetate sheets, PVA glue, food dye, UV resin, foam clay, and a touch of imagination — I’ll show you how I designed, painted, and framed this fantasy window in an Elven archway. It’s part DIY tutorial, part journey into Tolkien’s world, and all made with a bit of cottage-core whimsy. ✨ Whether you’re a crafter, a Tolkien fan, or just love a touch of fantasy in your home, I hope this inspires you to make your own magical creations. ⚔️ May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out. Materials: Craft foam, Mat foam PVA glue Food dyes Plaster Acrylic Paints, speed paints and Paint brushes UV Resin and UV Lamp Foam Clay & moulds String & pins Craft Knife & Cutting Mat I used a laser cutter; not sure I would be able to cut the window without one!
