How to make Soft Vitumbua/Rice Cakes | Ramadhan Recipe | Mumtaz Hasham

I have tried several recipes but this is a keeper. I used same amount of ingredients I have for my makate video which I posted two years ago. These vitumbua stay soft for few days — that is if they last. they yield about 21 mini Vitumbua INGREDIENTS: 1 cup Tilda Basmati Rice or Quality Brand Rice 71 gm of coconut bar. (Box comes as 141g, cut in half and measure) 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp yeast 1 tbsp oil 1/4 cup warm water 2 tbsp additional water 1 cup warm milk 1 tsp ground cardamom powder You can blend everything together but I chose to blend periodically with different ingredients.
