The Wren Chapter 23 (Dubbed in Spanish) The Wren Chapter 24:    • Reyezuelo Capítulo 24 (Doblado En Español)   The Wren, based on one of the most widely read works in the history of Turkish literature, Çalıkuşu, tells the story of Feride, its protagonist. Feride loses her mother when she is just a child, and her father, a military officer, sends her to Istanbul to live with her maternal grandmother. After her grandmother's death, Feride's father enrolls her in the prestigious French boarding school, Our Lady of Sion, to receive a good education. Feride becomes famous at school for her antics and liveliness, spending much of her time at the top of a tree from which she doesn't like to come down, and this is how she receives the nickname The Wren. Feride spends her summer vacation at her aunts' house. Shortly after, her father dies, leaving Feride an orphan at a young age. Feride grows up to be a beautiful woman, hiding her feelings for Kamran, the son of one of her aunts, who is only a couple of years older than her. Soon, Feride learns that her love is reciprocated and becomes engaged to Kamran. Feride is eager to graduate from school so she can get married. However, shortly before her wedding, she discovers Kamran's betrayal and runs away, leaving everything behind. Feride is accepted by the Ministry of Education as a teacher, and thus begins a new adventure that will take her to places she never imagined.
