New Discoveries Around the Carnac Stones

New geophysical surveys at the famous Carnac Alignments show that this prehistoric landscape, packed with thousands of standing stones and other megalithic structures, has even more monuments hiding beneath its surface. In this video, I discuss the results of these surveys which have been published in the journal Archaeological Prospection and which focus on the areas surrounding the Kerlescan Alignments and the Manio megaliths. Could this new data help finally answer the question, what were the Carnac Stones for? #archaeology #megalithic #neolithic ✨ IN THIS EPISODE 00:00 The Remarkable Landscape of Carnac 00:56 The Megalithic Monuments We Can See 01:45 Recent Research on the Carnac Stones 03:40 The First Signs of a Hidden World 05:13 Cooking Stone Pits: Ritual or Domestic Use? 07:47 New Burial Mounds and an Unusual Structure ✨ JOIN MY CHANNEL    / @megalithhunter   ✨ FOLLOW ME ON SOCIALS BlueSky: @MegalithHunter.bsky.social ✨ REFERENCES Bruniaux, G., Mathé, V., Agogué, O., Lopez, S., Paillou, P., Perschke, R. and Ard, V., 2026.
