A large pot. From start to finish

I am making a large ceramic slab built pot in this video. I’m using a technique where I wrap the slabs around a former to support the soft clay, this allows me to use more pressure on the surface when applying materials to make textures and other marks. The video follows the journey of the piece from the start of the making process to its completion when it is put on display at a Ceramic Art Fair. The piece I started making at the beginning of the film accidentally broke when it was dry. So I started again with another piece in recognition that breakages are part of the process.
