Desert ride outside Albuquerque on 1967 Triumph TR6C

A fun ride discovering some new trails further north of Albuquerque. I’m on my 1967 Triumph TR6C. I’m the second owner of this fantastic bike. It was a little chopped out when I bought it but had a lot of potential. I run it in as close to production trim as possible. Still fitted with original Lucas ET ignition and Amal monobloc carburetor. Modifications I’ve made are 4 gallon fuel tank, oil press switch/indicator, replaced speedo with tachometer, 54 tooth sprocket, and a set of Allen head cover bolts to make wrenching a bit easier. I’m running Heidenau K67 tires. Really looking forward to doing some sanctioned desert races with this bike. I spent years road racing but have never done any off-road racing. Unfortunately the day after this video I collided with another bike and my left leg broke in two places. It’ll be a while before I can hit the desert again, but I’m not deterred. #triumph #desertsled #ahrma #tr6 #tr6c #albuquerque #albuquerquenm
