Raising the Roof: A Guide to Gas Strut Sizing in Pop-up Builds

In any DIY pop-up camper build, choosing the right gas struts is an important part of the process. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of easily accessible information about how to do this. When I was asked by a viewer how we determined which gas struts were right for our build, it seemed like a good time to make a video that will hopefully help other DIY builders. While my father originally did most of these calculations, for this video we sat down and went over the process. I then took his process and attempted to simplify it into 11 steps that can help any DIY builder pick the right struts for his/her project. However, I am not a professional.
