BOSS Meet & Greet Qasimabad Campus - Highlight

Beaconhouse Old Students Society organised BOSS Meet & Greet at Beaconhouse School, Qasimabad Campus, Hyderabad, on 3rd February 2024 for its prestigious alumni body. Beaconhouse BOSS received an enthusiastic turnout and 281 proud alumni gathered as a unified community. The event started with a welcome note by Ms Zainab Zaheer - Assistant Manager, Alumni Relations, and took the audience through the impactful journey of Beaconhouse BOSS and introduced its multiple initiatives. Ms. Shifa Farhan, the School Head, extended a warm welcome, shared a nostalgic video presentation comprised of captured memories, and played a recorded message by the pioneering School Head, Mrs Shahsultana Tahir which took the alumni down memory lane. Mr Shiraz Jamali and Ms Rizwana Malik two of the oldest and most cherished teachers were also invited to share their thoughts and the alumni welcomed them with noteworthy respect and zeal. Later, alumni introduced themselves and talked about their golden time on Campus and their achievements. Mr. Shehzad Soomro orchestrated many engaging activities that sparked childhood memories and filled the air with laughter. A wide array of professions and social roles were represented by the gathered alumni group; from entrepreneurs and lawyers to doctors, landlords, and homemakers. Some prominent alumni included Dr Farhan Zeb (Class of 2004) - Motivational Speaker/Master Trainer and Professor at IBA and University of Sindh, Dr Sarah Sheikh (Class of 1992) General Surgeon, Mr Sonoo Salman Shaikh (Class of 1992) Owner of Bombay Bakers, Ms Aisha Dars (Class of 2005) - Commissioner IRS Government of Pakistan, Ms Mahnoor Channa (Class of 2017) Legal Advisor to Pakistan Private Schools Association, Ms Hadiqa Jabbar (Class of 2012) - Director Air Foundation School, Mr Asjad Nizamani (Class of 2004) - Medical Officer, Health Department Government of Sindh, Mr Raja Raffay Nizamani (Class of 2006) Administrator at Sindh Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Mr Faizan Samoo (Class of 2005) - CEO Samoo Enterprises and Co-Founder MedQuill Billing Solutions, Texas, Mr Veenjhar Memon (Class of 2012 ) Advocate at High Court and Landlords including M Nazim Ali (Class of 1998) Ms Shah Muhammad Dero (Class of 2015), Mr Abid Hussain Thebo (Class of 2008). The attending alumni also took a round of their campus appreciating the multiple additions including a swimming pool, a gym, and a dedicated library among other expansions. Later, a Buffet-style dinner was served. As a souvenir, the alumni were presented with BOSS giveaways as they left feeling energised and nostalgic at the same time.
