Shocking Revelations: Royal Family Hidden Sisters

This revealing video reveals the shocking truth about the Royal Family's hidden sisters. Learn all about the secret members of the royal family that have been kept out of the public eye for years. Nerissa and Katherine Bowes-Lyon were the daughters of John Herbert Bowes-Lyon and Fenella Bowes-Lyon, and the granddaughters of the 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne. They were the nieces of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, who was married to King George VI of the United Kingdom. Nerissa and Katherine were born in the 1930s and were raised at the family's estate, Glamis Castle, in Scotland. They both had learning disabilities and were institutionalized at the Royal Earlswood Hospital for Mental Deficiency in Redhill, Surrey, England, at a young age. Katherine died at the hospital in 1986 at age 65, and Nerissa died in 1986 at 71. Their confinement and the circumstances of their deaths were not widely known until the 1990s when their existence and treatment were brought to public attention.
