People from three or four neighboring chars bring their produce here to sell. The main means of transport for this market is horse-drawn carriages. The goods are taken from the boat in horse-drawn carriages and then taken to the market from here. Fulsuri Bazaar is basically the important market of this upazila. This market is held twice a week, on Saturday and Tuesday. From here, they sell their products to meet their needs and buy from this market with the necessary knowledge. The market also serves as the heart of the local economy and a place for social interaction of people. The main problem of the people of the Phulchhari region is river erosion. Every year during the rainy season, houses, crops, land and roads are destroyed due to river erosion. People living along the river banks often lose their land and have to take shelter elsewhere. Many people from neighboring areas like Mymensingh and Jamalpur also come to this market to buy and sell their goods. It can be said that on market days, a gathering fair is created in Fulchhari. Boats and horse-drawn carriages are the main means of transport for the people of this char area.
