Archives of the Impossible conference | Second plenary session, March 4, 2022: Leslie Kean

Note: no part of this presentation recording may be reproduced or circulated without the permission of the presenter. Leslie Kean, an independent investigative journalist, presented "From UFOs to Physical Mediumship," the second plenary session as part of Archives of the Impossible, a scholarly conference and exhibition that took place March 3-6, 2022, at Rice University. Cameron Dezen Hammon, a lecturer in Creative Writing in the Rice University Department of English, provided introductory remarks. Leslie Kean has been bringing credible information about hidden, paranormal and “impossible” realities into the mainstream for over 20 years. She is the author of "Surviving Death: A Journalist Investigates Evidence for an Afterlife" and "UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record", a New York Times bestseller. Kean co-wrote the pivotal December 2017 New York Times story which revealed the existence of a secret Pentagon UFO program and included the release of now-famous Navy videos. "Surviving Death" is the basis for a 2021 six-part documentary series on Netflix. Kean is now working on a documentary series on UFOs for CNN. --------------- Learn more: impossiblearchives.rice.edu Follow us on Twitter: @RiceImpossible
