This particular chain saw was taken to a small engine repair shop and the mechanic was unable to get it running. I told him I would look at it for him and see if I could find something he may have missed. I was able to get this chainsaw running. You will see the steps I took to check what the problem could have been and how I fixed it. I returned it to him so he could sharpen the chain and install the brake (which he kept at his shop). You will also learn how to diagnose, disassemble, clean and reassemble a 2 cycle engine carburetor. This is the most common reason 2-stroke engines stop running (especially ones that are not frequently used).
