You are on LikeTV and today we are making a DNA spiral from paper using the origami technique. From the upper and lower edges of the workpiece, we bend about one more centimeter. We unfold the obtained folds of our model. Further we will divide the workpiece into equal parts. In total we get 16 parts. First, divide the model in half. Note that in the future we smooth out all the folds only to the centimeter indent lines previously outlined. Pull the right edge to the midline, fix the fold and thus divide the right half into two equal parts. Similarly, we divide the left half in half. Thus, we divided the sheet into 4 equal parts. Similarly, using the obtained fold lines, we divide the sheet into 8 equal parts. When we divide by 8, we begin to divide into 16 identical parts, again using the already obtained bend lines. We expand the workpiece vertically, so it will be more convenient for us. We will form 16 diagonal fold lines, again only to our centimeter edges. To do this, we pinch the sheet at the extreme points with our fingers and gently smooth the bend. Repeat this procedure 16 times. You know that there is a toy in the form of a spiral, which is considered an excellent anti-stress, and so we have our own wonderful anti-stress without glue and paper. Believe me, while you fold all the folds, you will forget about everything in the world and any stress will go away like smoke from white apple trees. Therefore, friends, we do not waste time, we take a sheet of paper and begin to fold the same spiral. In the meantime, we finished making our diagonal folds. Attention, we bend one edge of the workpiece in one direction, and the second in the opposite. Now we are starting to slightly spin the model and you see how our spiral begins to manifest itself, we just have a little bit left. With our fingers, we carefully push each step of our spiral along the edge, only to the middle.
