Producción de Cafe En Brasil y Colombia dos Realidades Distintas - TvAgro por Juan Gonzalo Angel
Twitter @juangangel In this program, we'll talk about one of the most important commodities in terms of export and consumption in the world: coffee. From Brazil, Geraldo Aloise, and from Colombia, Giovanny and Guillermo Lozano, tell us what coffee production represents in the world, economically and socially. Coffee is the beverage obtained from the roasted and ground beans of the coffee plant (coffee tree); it is highly stimulating due to its caffeine content, a psychoactive substance. This product is one of the most commercially traded in the world and one of the three most consumed beverages (along with water and tea). It is usually drunk during breakfast, after breakfast, or even as the only breakfast, although it is also often consumed as a snack, or after lunch or dinner to start conversations, or simply out of habit. It is one of the most socializing non-alcoholic beverages in many countries. A taste for coffee is not spontaneous; it must be cultivated, as its flavor is strong and bitter.
