Joe Hill was a Wobbly---a member of the IWW, the Industrial Workers of the World, a songwriter, an agitator & organizer, a Swedish immigrant to the U.S. Joe Hill was a worker who was executed for a crime he probably didn't commit. The Joe Hill Organizing planning an all-day, open-air concert in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Labor Day weekend on the site of Joe Hill’s death (now Sugar House Park) to celebrate his life 100 years after his death.
