TRYING Artist's Loft Silicone for the FIRST TIME | Triple Flip Cup with NEW SILICONE

It's always so exciting playing with new things! In this case, a new acrylic pouring technique AND Artist's Loft silicone! Triple flip cups means triple the anxiety, but ALSO triple the excitement! When playing with multiple flip cups, it's amazing how each acrylic pour can be so different yet so similar to one another using all the same colors! I still have a lot to learn with this pour painting technique and that will come with repetition and time. Nevertheless, I'm still very happy with how I finally am starting to see some big cells, SO MANY CELLS! I LOVE THIS NEW SILICONE OIL! If you haven't yet checked out Julie's incredible work @Pouring Your Heart Out, I really urge you to go see what she can do! Her artwork is amazing, and she's quite thorough in explaining exactly what she's doing. She also comes across as quite a kind person, so she's a definite must-see if you love acrylic pour painting. 👍 | Remember to like, comment, and share. Email me: [email protected] For each painting, I eyeball about 40% acrylic paint, 40% Floetrol, 20% water, and 1 - 3 drops of silicone oil in the colors I choose. I sign every piece and cover them with 3 coats of Krylon low-odor, clear gloss spray. I do most of my pour painting with Liquitex or Artist's Loft unless I see something fancy while I`m out. **Please Note: It takes about 30 days for each painting to fully cure. At this point, they are washed with soapy water to remove the silicone residue on the surface. They are then sealed with Krylon Clear Gloss Spray or gloss varnish.**
