This year, Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base is home to several squadrons, including: 31st Rajawali Squadron (Halim) 3 units 32nd Herky Squadron (Malang) 3 units 33rd Unicorn Squadron (Makassar) 3 units 17th Kencana Squadron (Halim) 6 units 5th Camar Squadron (Makassar) 1 unit 4th Walet Squadron (Malang) and several squadrons from the Indonesian Navy's Naval Air Forces Research and Development Center (Puspenerbal TNI AL) totaling 10 units.
