I Flew Across Canada to Chase a Bucket List Dream... Here's What Happened

There are some experiences that sit on your bucket list for years. For me, one of those experiences was surfing in the Pacific Ocean. What started as a last-minute opportunity to travel to Vancouver quickly turned into something much bigger. Along the way, I explored downtown Vancouver, visited the giant FIFA World Cup ball installation, attended a Canada vs. Japan wheelchair rugby match at the Richmond Olympic Oval, flew on a seaplane for the very first time, spotted wildlife including otters and a whale, and made my way to the surfing capital of Canada: Tofino.
