We spent three nights in Japan's cultural capital. We visited the Fushi Inari Shrine, Teramochi Market, and Nishiki Market; admired Hōkan-ji Temple (Yasaka Pagoda), Shōseien Garden, and Kyoto Tower; attended a tea ceremony at a cafe with dogs and foxes; and, of course, shopped at Don Quijot. Kyoto captivated us with its beauty and traditional values. But despite our active itinerary, we quickly grew bored and headed off to explore the next city, Osaka.
