Campane | Re (VB), Santuario della Madonna del Sangue

The Sanctuary of Our Lady in Re is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Northern Italy. The original building, built in the 17th Century, was then expanded and built in a Neo-Byzantine style due to many pilgrims coming to visit the shrine, in the early 1900s. It is a large attraction in this local area, the religious focal point in the Vigezzo Valley, near the Swiss border. It's Bell Tower contains one of the finest sets of bells in Italy. A new bell was added in April 2025 for the Jubilee. In this video, you will hear traditional concerts, as well as Christmas Carols being played.
