Actress Atsuko Maeda attended an event in Tokyo on September 18th to announce her appointment as the new CM character for "Studio Mario," a children's photo studio operated by "Camera no Kitamura." Making her first public appearance since announcing her first pregnancy, Maeda was asked what moments she wanted to capture in photographs of her child. She replied, "I'm going to be a very doting parent, and I'm sure I'll take tons of pictures. I want to take pictures before and after the baby is born. I want to take pictures with the whole family." She was already showing her doting parent side. During the photo session, several children appeared on stage, but Maeda noticed a little boy who was hesitant to come out. She gently took his hand and led him over, saying, "He's so cute. I'm about to cry." She showed her "mom side" early on. The new commercial is themed around Studio Mario's popular service of "unlimited costume changes" for photo shoots. Maeda plays "Acchan," a 7-year-old girl who quickly changes from a traditional kimono for Shichi-Go-San celebrations to a gorgeous floral dress and then a girly pink dress, showing off a cute and slightly cheeky side that no one has ever seen before.
