Rob Voerman. Entropic Empire

Mit "Entropic Empire" zeigt das Museum der Moderne Salzburg die erste umfassende Ausstellung des niederländischen Künstlers Rob Voerman in Österreich. Seine spektakulär düsteren Werke bewegen sich zwischen Skulptur, Installation, Architektur und Science-Fiction. Voermans futuristisch anmutende Bauten wirken wie Relikte einer untergegangenen Zivilisation – Monumente aus einer Zeit nach dem Menschen. Sie erinnern an einstige Utopien und erzählen von einer neuen, posthumanen Weltordnung, in der biomorphe Strukturen und technologische Fragmente miteinander verschmelzen. Die Ausstellung ist bis 15. Voerman’s futuristic constructions appear as remnants of a collapsed civilization – monuments from a post-human era.
