Lemon(d) - Rebuilding a 28-year-old bike with no experience

I rebuilt my 1996 Lemond Tourmalet with no experience with bicycle mechanics. I took on this project because I wanted to save this 1996 Lemond Tourmalet from the landfill, save some money, and save the memories I've had in my short time owning it. Instead, I learned a ton about bike mechanics, the story of Greg Lemond, and that it's sometimes more expensive to fix an old bike than buy a new one.
