Philippines’ Only Underground Cemetery (Nagcarlan, Laguna) + Enchanting Liliw

Hi everyone, I’m Joel Syquia and in this episode I am proud to present Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery, which is considered to be the only one of its kind in the Philippines. Since no trip to Nagcarlan, Laguna would be complete without visiting both Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery and Nagcarlan Church, I did an earlier feature of Nagcarlan Church a month ago (see link below), and I tried to explore the connection between these two historical landmarks. As I look into the history of the cemetery and its links with the Philippines' independence, I also admire some of its interesting features, and investigate the myth of an underground tunnel linking the cemetery with Nagcarlan Church.
