Parque Nacional Lauca | Arica & Parinacota | Electroruta Parques Nacionales de Chile 1/44

Lauca National Park, located in the Arica and Parinacota Region, has an average altitude of 4,500 meters above sea level. This was the first park we visited on our electric national parks route through Chile. We departed from Viña del Mar at the Copec Voltex gas station on 6 Norte in our 100% electric Volvo C40 Recharge. 2,500 km later, we arrived in Arica, where our route would begin. On Monday, March 20th, we drove up to Putre to acclimatize, and the following day we headed to the park to explore its surroundings and attractions.
