Vinesh Phogat's Coach| Meet Woller Akos | Paris Olympics 2024

Since 2018, Vinesh Phogat has been training with Hungarian coach Woller Akos, under his tutelage in a training camp in Hungary. Thanks to Akos, Phogat made a few tweaks in her technique & reaped rewards almost immediately as she went on to win gold in the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid. However, in 2021, Akos was at the centre of controversy following Phogat's disappointing performance at the Tokyo Olympics. All doubts were proved wrong as Phogat became the first Indian woman wrestler to reach the final of the Olympic Games with a convincing 5-0 win over Cuba's Yusneylis Guzman Lopez.
