Risk Assessment and Food Safety
A risk assessment is a process to identify potential food safety hazards and analyze what could happen if a hazard occurs. We use a risk assessment process in our daily lives from performing it as part of our hazard analysis in HACCP through to assessing the food safety effects of proposed operational changes and beyond. This presentation will discuss the steps in a risk assessment and provide some simple tools and methods to conduct an effective risk assessment.
