The Fendt 942 Vario is equipped with a new 6-cylinder MAN engine with a displacement of 9 liters. Rated engine speed is 1,700 rpm, idling at 650 rpm. The MAN engine installed in the 900 Vario series meets the Stage V emissions standard: a diesel oxidation catalytic converter (DOC), a diesel particulate filter (DPF), an SCR system (nitrogen oxide reduction), a 2,500 bar high-pressure common rail fuel injection system. The Fendt 942 Vario features the VarioDrive transmission, which divides and transmits torque between two axles, optimizing traction in the field and on the road.
