Max For Live Tutorial #2 the midi effect
In this tutorial I will show you how to program your first midi effect. A midi effect with which the user can edit the pitch and velocity. We start with the midi effect init, use a midi parse to display the notes as a list, use an unpack to make two numbers from the list. Then we filter out the "0", since the 0 is the note-off command at the velocity. Then we insert the "+" patcher and use the live.numberbox, with which the user can enter numbers. With a spit object we filter out the values that are too high. In the end we use the object midi format to roll our list back again. Sounds complicated, but it is not :) Here is MUGENT The webpage for high quality free samples: www.mugent.com
