Today’s shore fishing session was all about battling strong south-east winds in search of flounder — and persistence paid off with a cracking 34cm fish landed from the beach! The conditions were far from easy, with the wind making casting, presentation, and bite detection a real challenge. By adapting my approach, slowing things down, and keeping the bait working naturally along the seabed, I managed to find feeding fish and hit the target species.
