Bloom Into You: Love Is Complicated

Bloom Into You speaks to me in a way that most other romance stories don't, so I return from another abrupt hiatus to discuss why the series appeals to me and what it makes me think about. I probably could've gone into more detail on the study of aromanticism, but I didn't want to get bogged down in technicalities and was more concerned at conveying a feeling that people unfamiliar with the concept could potentially understand easier. Edit: I probably shouldn't have implied I was aromantic since I'm still figuring that part of myself out. I think I could've discussed my own perspective and aromanticism without blending the two together. Also, the opening line probably didn't need the "and inclusive" part. That was my cheap way of referencing two other shows that handle LGBT-related ideas, but it sorta ends up rejecting all the non-LGBT stuff for no good reason. It's a nitpick, but it still bugs me a bit.
