In this video, I take a deep dive into the Seestar S30 Pro and show what this compact smart telescope is capable of under real-world conditions. Over multiple nights from a light-polluted urban sky, I captured a wide range of deep-sky objects including the Andromeda Galaxy, Orion Nebula, Pleiades, Rosette Nebula, and even wide-field mosaics like Orion and the Heart & Soul Nebulae. I test the native field of view, mosaic mode, Plan Mode, and the built-in light pollution filter, and compare unedited stacked images straight out of the app with my own PixInsight processing. I also explore the new Milky Way mode, wide-field imaging, star trails, and in-app editing features like AI denoise. While the S30 Pro isn’t designed for detailed planetary imaging, it excels at wide-field astrophotography with minimal setup.
