Education Was the Empire’s Most Powerful Weapon

Then I started researching Reverend John Morton. What began as a story about one missionary in Trinidad became something much bigger: how the British Empire used education not only to teach people, but to shape what they admired, aspired to, and ultimately who they became. This video explores that history across Trinidad, India, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Canada, and asks a question that feels surprisingly personal: Which parts of our identity did we inherit naturally... and which were carefully engineered? I'd love to hear your family's story in the comments. ------------------ FOLLOW ME: Youtube Channel:    / hindulifestyle   Twitter:   / shawnbinda   Facebook:   / hindu.lifestyle.official   TikTok:   / hindu.lifestyle   Instagram:   / hindu.lifestyle.official   -------------------
