This is the infamous OM616 Mercedes-Benz diesel with 4 speed manual transmission from a 1981 240D W123 chassis. Often referred to as the most reliable engine ever produced for a passenger car! This thing will make 120 less horsepower than the 4.3 Vortec our Chevy Blazer came out with but it will be 130 times cooler! This is of the of the first diesel engines ever offered in passenger cars We’re gonna add a turbo to this engine and give it a little refurbishing before we do the swap
