She then studied abroad in Switzerland and earned an MBA. Upon returning to Japan, she joined the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, but left upon marriage. After marrying the second-generation president of Matsumoto Kosan Co., Ltd. (Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture), a 50-year-old manufacturer of automotive parts, she spent three years as a full-time housewife before becoming a director (general affairs and accounting manager). Faced with a mountain of challenges, including poor performance, a labor shortage, personnel issues due to a lack of internal communication, and a black-boxed business environment, she found herself in a predicament as a director, tasked with accounting despite having no experience. While studying accounting herself, she sought a way to "generate profits and make both management and employees happy." Based on the belief that "the most important thing in an organization is the hearts of its people," she studied psychology, mnemonics, neuroscience, Buddhism, and other fields, and developed her own unique method, the "Balloon Accounting Method." This method successfully instilled an understanding of accounting perspectives in all employees and fostered a managerial mindset. Her sometimes strict, sometimes warm, maternal love brought together disparate employees, successfully implementing internal digital transformation centered on "purpose," "quantitative strategy," and "accounting thinking." By implementing an in-house app, she successfully reduced fixed costs by 40 million yen and created a workplace where women can thrive through improved work environments.
