So is it possible to be a "good tourist" in Hawaii? I wanted to talk about this issue since it was brought up in a recent article from Hawaii Business Magazine, which shares various perspectives on whether it's okay to visit Hawaii. I've never quite understood the argument that people should stay away from Hawaii because visitors are taking away resources from locals. After all, we are the host state whose economy is primarily driven by the tourism industry. Without that, a lot of locals and businesses will struggle.
